Jeepster is a J/109, a 35 foot cruiser racer built by J Boats in France in 2011. The J/109 features a retractable bowsprit and asymmetric spinnaker.

The J/109 can race in “one-design” competition (where all boats have the same handicap), or under the International Rating Certificate (IRC) where the handicap depends on equipment.
The J/109 has been one of the most popular classes of cruiser/racer since she first appeared on the scene in the early 2000s, both as a one-design class and in IRC and you can expect to see a number of them in popular south coast regattas and JOG and RORC events. There is a very strong class association.
Engine
Jeepster has a Volvo Penta D1-30 engine, a 30HP, three cylinder, 1.1 litre inboard diesel. It drives through a saildrive to a two blade folding propeller.

The headsail is set on a Harken mkIV furler. Battens are a mix of soft furling battens or vertical composite fibre.
Berths
There are two saloon berths, with two pilot berths above which are primarily used for storage. There are two berths in the forepeak and another two in the aft port cabin.
Heads
The heads are to starboard and give access to a full depth cockpit locker.
